Artist's Description
Snow in the mountains of Jerusalem is not an everyday phenomenon. Last year we had exceptionally heavy snow, which caused a lot of damages. In the 2nd week of January 2015 snow came again, considerably lighter this time, but it came in two successive waves and was severe enough (especially the second one, on the night of Friday Jan. 9) to get the police to close the roads from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, which got me stuck at home in Mevasseret Zion - 7 km. west of Jerusalem - for two days.
